Today I am very excited to be part of the blog tour for ‘How Not to be Starstruck’ by Portia Macintosh.
Everyone loves a rockstar, but there are some that are head and shoulders above the rest. For me, the perfect rockstar is mix of good looks, fantastic style, musical talent and a dazzling personality.
One of my favourite rockstars will always be Jon Bon Jovi. I don’t care if it’s his baby-faced, big-haired 80s look, his cool 90s get-up or modern day Jon, the man only gets hotter as he gets older. He’s got the personality needed too. He oozes stage presence, charm and sex appeal.
It’s funny, all rockstars seem to get hotter as they get older – which is surprising, because you’d think their lifestyle would age them terribly. Jared Leto is a fine example. Jared is probably my favourite “current” rockstar. It’s hard to believe he’s in his forties, because he looks little more than half that. Right now, he’s totally looking the part with his long hair, but whether he’s rocking the long locks or a pink mohawk, he’s looking good. He has a dazzling personality too – and I’m not sure if this is very rock ‘n’ roll or not, but he clearly adores his mum, and that’s the kind of guy you want.
If you like your boys with ink, the Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows is the guy for you. Daryl Palumbo from Head Automatica, Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl, Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil, The Killers’ Brandon Flowers and Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age are all pretty high up on my list too.
Punk-rockers can be pretty handsome too. All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth, Cobra Starship’s Gabe Saporta, Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and Taylor York from Paramore all have it going on too.
‘How Not to be Starstruck’ is out 31st March, and is Portia’s full-length follow-up to ‘Between a Rockstar and a Hard Place’ (out now).
Thank you to Portia for dropping by, I loved reading about the sexiest rock stars!
