Girls on Tour by Nicola Doherty

Blurb:

Four girls. One year.

Five fabulous destinations.

Poppy is bound for Paris, the City of Love. Could this be her chance to end her epic dry spell?

Lily is en route to her cousin’s wedding in LA, where she’s willing to break a few rules to land her dream role.

Maggie can’t wait for her romantic ski holiday in Meribel – until it goes seriously off-piste.

Rachel packs for a glamorous Roman holiday, but a blast from the past is about to sabotage la dolce vita.

The girls get together and fly to Manhattan. But someone’s been hiding a big secret in the Big Apple…

Hilarious, romantic and unputdownable, Girls on Tour is an irresistible series of interlinked stories about four ordinary girls who have extraordinary fun in faraway places. Follow them in an unforgettable year that includes breaking up, making up, new jobs and some big surprises …

A big thank you to Bookbridgr for sending me a copy to review!

My Thoughts

Girls on Tour is a fabulous read that transports you all over the globe, from Paris to New York.

Split into five different stories with intertwining characters, Girls On Tour is a perfect companion for the beach this summer.

Poppy takes us to Paris, Lily to LA, Maggie to Meribel, Rachel to Rome and then we join the four Sex and the City style in New York City!
Four girls, five destinations and a heap of self discovery and adventure.

Nicola Doherty has a way with words that never fails to transport me to the many fabulous locations she writes about, her characters are easily relatable and the dramas they deal with are those that many have or will face.

I loved all of the girls and found their narratives to be something unique, it was wonderful to hear four strong female voices and experience in their travels.

Lily was probably my favourite, she is slightly wild but very aware of those around her. Although I found myself not wanting any of their stories to end and devouring the emails that passed between them with updates on their lives.

Allow Doherty to take you away this summer and explore the world of her words….
